William McIntosh Design, Inc.
Showrooms
William McIntosh Design, is a New York City based interior design and decoration firm led by award-winning designers William McIntosh and Martin Raffone. The partners create sophisticated interiors that are individually conceived, refined and meticulously crafted. Luxury is the hallmark of the New York-based firm, whose work forges a perfect balance between timelessness and today. At the heart of every project is the belief that the best interior expresses personality and place. The resulting environments are inviting, stylish, and above all resolutely livable.
McIntosh and Raffone bring their respective takes on contemporary design, curation, and elegance to bear in a range of luxurious residential and commercial projects. McIntosh is widely regarded as one of the designers to popularize ultra-luxury in interior design, beginning in the 1980s. The firm’s work is at once familiar but also reveals surprises and new interpretations, embracing both the period and the modern. Raffone is lauded for his layered approach to interiors and the confidence with which he juxtaposes a variety of textiles and colors from many of the industry’s best design resources.
McIntosh and Raffone have completed elegant, polished interiors in many of Manhattan’s “it” buildings—including 432 Park, the Plaza, the Puck Building, and Herzog & de Meuron’s 160 Leroy Street—as well as in projects in Miami, Palm Beach, San Francisco, London, luxurious beach houses, stately townhouses and lush retreats from St Barths to Morocco.
Individually and as a team, McIntosh and Raffone have been featured in many world renowned publications including Architectural Digest, Departures Magazine, Elle Décor, Palm Beach Cottages and Gardens, Traditional Home and numerous others.
