Sackett Residence

Interior walls were opened to create brighter, more expansive spaces for entertaining within a landmark 1980s Houston residence designed by noted architect Marvin Watson. Key transformations included linking the entry hall and living room through three wide openings—one showcasing a glass case for antique toy soldiers—along with updating the kitchen, bathrooms, and fireplaces, and converting the pool cabana into a den and wet bar. The interiors, influenced by Halston’s minimalist yet decadent aesthetic, feature a refined gray palette accented by bold color, custom Ledbetter designs and iconic pieces of modernist furniture.
