Enrique Garcel is a Colombian furniture designer whose work stands out for its sophisticated use of exotic materials, lacquered surfaces and bold, stylized forms. His pieces often incorporate materials such as goatskin parchment, chrome, lacquer and resin and reflect a blend of modern and Art Deco revival influences. His platform beds with parchment set in resin and highlighted with metallic accents are signature pieces that demonstrate his luxurious, handcrafted aesthetic.
