Robert Guillerme, a graduate of Paris’s École Boulle in 1934, specialized in furniture design and architecture. Based in Lille, Northern France, Guillerme partnered with Jacques Chambron, who relocated from Paris to Lille in 1948. Together with Émile Dariosecq, a skilled woodworking shop owner, they founded the company Votre Maison in 1949. This collaboration laid the foundation for the renowned Guillerme et Chambron design studio.
In the 1970s, Jacques Chambron’s son joined the company, helping to continue and expand their legacy. Known for their elegant mid-century modern furniture, Guillerme et Chambron’s pieces have experienced renewed global interest and remain highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts today.
