Kai Nielsen

 
Kai Nielsen (1882-1924) was a Danish artist and sculptor who is widely considered one of the most important figures in Danish modernism. He was born in Denmark and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen.
 
Nielsen worked in a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, and printmaking. He was particularly interested in creating art that was accessible to a wider audience, and he often used simplified forms and bold, graphic elements in his work.
 
Nielsen's style was heavily influenced by Art Nouveau and the decorative arts, but he also incorporated elements of modernism into his work. His sculptures were known for their graceful, flowing lines and their ability to convey movement and emotion.
