Tonino Negri, born in Lodi in 1961, embarked on his artistic journey by apprenticing under skilled artists and artisans, fostering collaborations across various sculptural and ceramic projects. In 1993, he established the Bottega del Respiro (Breath Workshop) within the Gabbiano Drug Rehabilitation Centre, a testament to his commitment to art's transformative power. Presently, Negri spearheads an Applied Arts and Ceramics Artistic Workshop in Lodi, guiding aspiring artists in their creative pursuits.
 
Negri's creative vision extends beyond traditional terracotta, as evidenced by his creation of expansive installations adorning squares, parks, and churches, employing diverse materials. Moreover, he actively contributes to theatrical productions, collaborating with directors to craft captivating set designs. His artistic journey has taken him far and wide, both within Italy and abroad, as he continues to immerse himself in the rich tapestry of artisanal and artistic expression.
