Monumental early 19th C Clock on a Polychromed panel
-
Description
Monumental early 19th C clock on a polychrome panel with clock-hands in golden metal, fixed on a tin sheet. The hands are attached to the back of the panel with a clock system; leftovers of the mechanism have still attached. The clock itself is made of a thin iron plate, with the hours painted on. The panel has a blue-grey background with gold details painted in the four corners. The objects show some age cracks and a wonderful used patina.
