Brutalist water fountain sculpture titled 'Southland's Case' commissioned and executed in 1974 by Texas artist HJ Bott for the employee garden at the Southland Corporation's downtown Dallas Headquarters building. Fabricated from cast and patinated silicon bronze with stainless-steel plumbing and pumper housing. This sculpture is one of a kind and is signed and dated. A quintessential work from Bott's Verticality series and (DoV) displacement of volume concept.

The central steel rod for the plumbing of water has an applied faux patina that will need to be re-worked since it is starting to come off in a few places.
