Description
Set of 24 Antique English Silver Plate Lunch Dessert knives and forks, C.1853, Martin Hall & Co. The Service comprises 12 knives and 12 forks, tapered quadrilateral handles; the handles, tines and blades all engraved with stylised foliate, wriggle work and geometric decoration. All pieces with mark for Martin Hall & Co and Registration Patent mark for February 20th 1853. Length of Knife: approximately 7-5/8 inches. Length of fork: approximately 6-¾ inches. Later fitted box.
