Description
An exceptional and increasingly collectible signed PIMS blown glass bottle or sculptural vase designed by celebrated Italian designer Aldo Cibic for Paola C, handcrafted in Italy. This elegant postmodern vessel exemplifies the refined minimalist language and playful sculptural sensibility for which Cibic is internationally recognized.
Executed in hand-blown crystal-clear glass, this striking piece features an elongated baluster silhouette with softly flared neck, voluptuous organic body, and substantial pedestal base, creating a sophisticated architectural presence from every angle. The transparency of the glass beautifully captures and reflects ambient light, making it equally compelling as a standalone sculptural object, decorative vessel, contemporary centerpiece, or statement vase.
The underside retains the original etched signature, confirming authenticity: Paola C / PIMS / Aldo Cibic / Italy.
A highly desirable example of late 20th-century Italian design, ideal for collectors of Memphis Milano, postmodern decorative arts, Murano glass, and curated interiors by architects, interior designers, and discerning collectors.
