Cushing & White, Waltham, Massachusetts
ca. 1890-1910
Full body molded copper, copper tubing
Over-all in excellent condition, retaining a wonderful verdigris surface.
Provenance: Private collection, Main Line, Pennsylvania.
The desirable cod fish form was manufactured by several companies, primarily located in New England. This rare example, most likely made by Cushing & White, exhibit a well-defined impression of the scales, fins and head. The weathervane is further complimented with a naturally aged verdigris surface.
