  • Description
Colourful ceramic Art deco round box by Faïenceries et Emaux de Longwy made around 1950. This turquoise blue box features beautiful flowers all around, and Longwy's signature craquelure glaze. The Longwy manufacture has hundreds of years of tradition, their golden age is clearly the 1920s and 1940s when the cloisonné technique reached a creative Art deco peak. A collectible piece, with a nice decorative presence, found in a very good vintage condition. Perfect as a gift, it can be used as a ring or jewellery box.
