  • Description
Rare small ceramic Art deco round box by Faïenceries et Emaux de Longwy made around 1920. This beautiful box features a colourful frieze with Longwy's signature craquelure glaze. The Longwy manufacture has hundreds of years of tradition, their golden age is clearly the 1920s and 1940s when the cloisonné technique reached a creative Art deco peak. A collectible piece, with a nice vintage presence, found in a very good vintage condition. Perfect as a gift, it can be used as a ring or jewellery box.
