Roberto Volonterio and Cesare Benedetti chandelier brass glass 1980s

$ 15,500
  • Description
    This Vega ceiling light was designed by Roberto Volonterio and Cesare Benedetti for Quattrifolio in the 1980s. Composed of three elliptical glass panels, sandblasted on one side to create a subtle textured finish, the fixture frames two tubular Pyrex diffusers that gently project light across its lateral surfaces. The gilt metal structure deliberately reveals its fixing system, embracing a constructive approach that gives the ceiling light a remarkable sense of lightness and suspension. Light diffuses softly through the translucent glass, evoking an Art Deco vocabulary reinterpreted through the lens of Italian Postmodernism. Fully restored and rewired in our workshop.
