This highly unique Art Nouveau Hand-Painted Ceramic Vase Signed Gouda originates from the Netherlands, Circa 1910. This piece features a stunning surface in ornately hand-painted natural motifs in a wide array of muted hues. Flowing lines and rhythmic overlapping foliage adorns the surface of the vase, with an effortless application of lines and curving forms. The amphora style handles are flared at the top surface and integrate into the body of the vase in a beautiful fashion, influencing the overall form. A lovely piece signed Gouda on the undersurface, this vase bares an original sticker from Sotheby's where it was once sold.
