Offered for sale is a "Mini-David" puzzle sculpture by Miguel Ortiz Berrocal (Spain, 1933-2006). Miguel Berrocal blended his multi faceted education into near alchemical feats of sculptural work. This torso of David, is a three dimensional puzzle of incredibly precise craftsmanship. 22 individual pieces, are fitted in order to create the overall work, each piece nesting into the last often locking into place with mind boggling exactness. This puzzle is stamped Berrocal and numbered 4158 from an edition of 10,000.
