Description
This elegant pair of Mid-Century Modernist uplights showcases the exquisite craftsmanship of Murano glass artisans, blending form and texture to create functional works of art. The uplights are hand-blown using the Bullicante technique, a hallmark of Murano glassmaking that features uniformly spaced air bubbles embedded in the glass, adding depth, texture, and richness to the design.
Each piece is accentuated by sculptural smoked glass detailing, which introduces a subtle contrast to the clarity of the Bullicante body. The smoked glass elements feature clean, dynamic forms that evoke a sense of modern refinement while maintaining the organic quality associated with Murano designs.
These uplights project a warm and inviting glow when illuminated, making them ideal accent pieces for Mid-Century Modern, contemporary, or classic interiors. As both lighting fixtures and artistic objects, they represent the timeless allure and unparalleled quality of Murano glasswork. Newly rewired to American Standards, these lamps accommodate one edison base bulb each, achieving up to 100 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
