With covers, elaborate gilt-metal mounts, florally painted decorative porcelain bodies, and square bases with canted corners, these fine vases are made in the style of the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres. With twin female bust handles, in resplendent Neoclassical style backed by scrolling foliate wings, the main body of each piece is painted with floral decorations in rouge and light pastel tones, almost continuing from the gilt elements on the neck. Imitating and evoking the world-renowned artistic style of the Sèvres porcelain manufactory of Paris, these fine pieces make for elegant interior decorative additions.
