This brilliantly detailed Arts and Crafts Movement Walnut Lined Bronze and Brass Box W/Heraldic Detailing signed Silver Crest Originates from the United States during the early 20th Century. Features a complex symmetrical design on the top of the lid with bold graphic shapes and overlapping linear motifs, beautifully handled and slightly rising above the surface in brass over bronze. The remainder of the piece is minimal and geometric, with a smooth hinge and a walnut lining to the interior of the box. Signed by the company 'Silver Crest' on the undersurface of the piece. A lovely box with unique imagery and excellent construction, this piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
