Ico Parisi for Stildomus "Temide" Palisander Umbrella Stand with Drip Pan
-
Description
Model 1703 "Temide" architectural umbrella stand (portaombrelli) in palisander with polished aluminum trim by architect/designer Ico Parisi for Stildomus (ca. 1960, Italy).
Retains its original painted metal drip pan, which is usually missing (pan can double as an ashtray when stand is turned over and tray is placed on top of the slats).
The scarcely seen red metal drip pan shows wear from age and use, and was repainted at some point (original orange/red paint can be seen on the reverse). Palisander has been conservatively refinished and, along with the aluminum border, shows only minor wear.
