Featuring a refined architectural form with cylindrical stems, wide drip pans, and weighted circular bases, these sculptural candleholders embody the sophisticated minimalist aesthetic that made Swid Powell one of the most influential American design companies of the late 20th century.
Founded in New York in 1982, Swid Powell collaborated with leading architects and designers including Richard Meier, Ettore Sottsass, Robert A.M. Stern, Michael Graves, and Gwathmey/Siegel to produce collectible tabletop and decorative objects that merged modernist architecture with functional design.
