    Hill tribe healing figure carved of solid wood. 19th-early 20th century Golden Triangle area, Southeast Asia Indochina. This is a healing figure used to aid in healing. Arms folded to lower abdomen with head facing up to release sickness. Possibly Yao tribes. The statue has wear and erosion with cracks through the head and body. A rare wonderful example of Indochina Hill Tribe Folk Art. This item was collected in 1999 in Yao territory, near Lao / Thai Northern border.
    Statue without stand is 11 inches tall.
