Description
A storage box with a roll-down lid from the 1930s. This is an early design by Carl Auböck I, handcrafted by the Werkstätte Auböck workshop in Vienna, Austria. Handmade from walnut wood and nickel-plated brass. In very good original condition. Originally designed as a cigarette dispenser, the box can be used in many ways—for example, for jewelry or other small, important, or valuable items. Alternatively, it can simply be displayed on a shelf as part of an Auböck collection, where it will certainly make a fine impression. width 3.5, depth 5“, height 1.5"
