Large Carl Auböck Mid-Century Coat Rack Beech Wardrobe with 8 Brass Hooks, 1950s
-
Description
An elegant modernist wall-mounted coat rack from the 1950s. An original and old vintage object, designed and manufactured by the Austrian architect and designer Carl Auböck. The frame is made of beechwood with nice brass screws. It is equipped with eight lovely patinated „G-shaped“ solid brass / bronze hooks, which, we think, are the most beautiful ones. They can be positioned randomly on the rows. This is a larger version an it is in good condition with marginal age related signs of wear on the wood and nice patina on the hooks.
