Description
This C. 1920 Kurdish town carpet displays a very well drawn "Mustafi" allover design of coiled red acanthus volutes, light blue floral wreaths and rose bouquets, all on a rich navy ground. Red main border with barbed slanted leaves and two types of palmettes. Goes especially well with traditional furnishings. Solid medium weave. City Kurdish work. Good condition.
