Description
The pinched and pointed cartouche-form subfield is not really an empty beige, but powder blue and very subtly decorated with the palest rust medallion, and a palmette and leaf surrounding pattern. The charcoal field forms densely palmette-decorated corners. Blue-black border with palmettes and rosettes touched in medium blue. A central Persian antique town carpet with a restrained palette, velvety surface and fine weave. Moderately good condition.
