Description
The hexagonal royal blue pendanted medallion encloses red palmettes cartouches, green barbed leaves and little ecru rosettes, all on the attractively abrashed rust-red open subfield. Light/medium blue field runs plain along the sides and opens to decorated triangular corners. Navy strip style main border with reversing palmettes with basal short arabesque extenders. Finely woven on cotton, with crisp, upright short pile. Unusual size and layout. Good condition.
