Description
Beautiful vintage modernist flatware from Austria, model 2070, designed by Helmut Alder in 1959 and produced by Neuzeughammer Ambosswerk in the 1960s. The manufacturer also produced many flatware designs by Carl Auböck. This is a high-quality set made of stainless steel.
A timeless and modern design distinguished by its elegant, slender form. Despite the pronounced tapering, the pieces are very stable. The handles are flattened towards the end to provide a comfortable thumb rest and to allow for the addition of a monogram without disturbing the overall design concept.
The set is designed for six persons and includes six large spoons, forks, and knives, as well as six smaller spoons and forks — a total of 30 pieces.
In very good condition with normal signs of wear, such as fine, light surface scratches.
dimensions:
large spoon / fork: 7.5“ / 19 cm
knife: 8.3“ / 21 cm
small spoon: 5.4“ / 13.7 cm
small fork: 6.5“ / 16.4 cm -
