A wonderful art deco tray in wood with brass handles and a fantastic and highly decorative Japanese scene depicted on the serving area.
Two elegantly dressed women in flowing kimono stroll along a riverbank at night, their lanterns echoing the glowing festival lights strung above. Behind them, stylized architecture and a pagoda silhouette dissolve into deep teal water and shadow.
A decorative and functional piece, characteristic of the era’s cocktail culture and its fascination with stylized, exotic imagery. Suitable for use, display, or even wall mounting.
