Description
This stunning Mid Century Modern dish was realized by the esteemed Tommi Parzinger for Dorlyn Silversmiths circa 1950. It features a concave circular top with three bands circumscribing the perimeter. The piece sits on a volumetric square base that connects to the top via an hourglass form neck. Embodying Parzinger's signature mix of modernism and classicism, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from traditional to contemporary. While it is a perfectly functional dish- ideal for presenting candies or any number of other items- it is also an objet d'art in its own right that promises to beautify any surface that it graces. Marked "Dorlyn Silversmiths" on the base. Excellent vintage condition.
