Description
A French faïence mid-18th century oval-shaped soup tureen from Bordeaux with floral decor. Created in Southwestern France during the reign of King Louis XV, this soup tureen features an oval shape perfectly complimented by a delicate floral decor. The lid is topped by a green vegetable with its leaves, while the rest of the body is adorned with white, yellow and blue flowers standing out beautifully on a white ground.
