Durgin Gorham Fancy Regent Sterling Silver Asparagus Fork. C.1910. Scrolled and pierced handle with engraved flowers and scallop shell terminal. Flat lifter with concave sides, the tines with pierced scroll ovals between. A rare early piece in this pattern, which was first produced in 1901. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and Gorham stamp and later British import marks for 1957. Gorham acquired Durgin in the early 20th century. Length: 10 inches. Width of lifter: 3.125 inches. Item Weight: 192 grams.
