Around 1968, Tom Wesselman launched the Nude Banner project, introducing an initial textile felt version slated for a publication run of 20 copies. However, the production of these 20 felt proofs was halted when the artist opted to switch to vinyl to finalize the project. It’s worth noting that the strict limit of 20 copies for the Nude Banner was meticulously adhered to, encompassing both the textile felt and vinyl iterations.
