This remarkable set of eight Chinese watercolours is painted on the unique medium of pith paper, also known as rice paper. Due to its lower absorbency, pith paper allows the paint to pool on the surface, creating a stunning vibrancy and depth of colour. This distinctive feature is evident in each piece in this set.
