Jasmine and Blue, 60 x 60 cm, oil on canvas, 2022

There was a lovely visual echo between this cobalt blue scarf , which I used as a table cloth and the star shaped flowers of the jasmine. There was some rhythms in the play between the cloth pattern, the stripes, the shapes of the fruit, the flowers and the curves of the jug which made me feel happy, so I painted it.
