(American School, C. 1825) An Exceptional Quality Portrait of "Two Sisters", early 19th Century.
Oil on canvas in gilt-wood frame.
This powerful portrait painting depicts two sisters holding a miniature pendant locket with a picture of their father, both elegantly dressed with bonnets.
Painted by an American master painter, every detail in this painting is done with the outmost detailing. From the hair, clothes, jewelry and especially the locket. A truly pleasing painting to look at.
