Au Bal Masque - Spanish girl at Opera
-
Description
This spectacularly beautiful post-impressionist portrait t could be reminiscent of Degas.
A charming girl with a blue mantilla adorned with roses, a blue shawl and a see-through fan that enhances the sitter's mysterious beauty. It's a fairy-tail picture that transports the viewer back to a by-gone era of traditional and reserved glamour.
It once sold at Christie's for $58,600
In-person, it is even better with the wonderful detail of the faces in the gallery.
Beautifully framed in a hand-carved wood frame and perfect for the centerpiece of an elegant room.
