Beautiful vibrant original oil painting on canvas by the Swiss artist, Hans Walter Scheller. Signed lower right and dated 1937. Condition is excellent. The painting is housed in its original wood frame in good condition. Overall measurements framed are 24 by 20 inches. Provenance: a Sarasota, Florida collector.

Hans (Hanns) Walter Scheller was born in Bern. Switzerland in 1896 and died in Zurich, Switzerland in 1964. He is known for his modernist figurative painting as well as his still life floral paintings done in the 1930’s and 1940’s.
