Back then, many artist were concerned with depicting simple and beautiful things.
A case in point is Jenne Magafan's beautiful painting of a shabby wooden fence with all of it's charm.
Notice how charming she renders the birds in the foreground.

In Graduate School he worked with famed critic E.C. Goossen and went on to work as a Photographer, New York Advertising Art Director, and Art Collector.
