The infamous Rolling Stones tongue and lips are featured in this later, unique hand-painted version by the artist based on his iconic 1970s design. In 1970, at the age of 25, John Pasche was designing a European tour poster for The Rolling Stones when he created what would become known as the iconic Hot Lips logo. Throughout his career, Pasche has returned to this image, which is without question one of the most recognized symbols in contemporary pop culture. The present unique work is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist. - Signed lower right. The frame has a running music motif.
Small fingerprint smudge lower left, possibly inherent to the work. Framed under acrylic, not examined outside of frame.
