Portrait of an Elegant Young Woman in Warm Grays and Soft Ochers
-
Description
Leon Kroll was above all an academician. To him "abstract art was merely the beginning of a picture. Structurally, "Portrait of a Young Woman recalls some of the portraits from the great renaissance masters but Kroll infuses it with a palette of grays, ochers, and soft browns.
