Description
Bemelmans' character Silly Willy, who is a seal, assumes comic human behavior as he celebrates his Uncle Hubert's birthday. In the final hilarious panel, we see Willy in a top hat, offering a bouquet of fish to Hubert, who is smoking a handcrafted Meerschaum pipe.
Signed lower right. Published: Comic strip published Young America magazine for approximately two years, beginning in 1935.
