“L’Étreinte,” meaning “The Embrace,” is an original oil painting on wood panel by French artist Pascal Jarrion. Created in 2024, the composition explores the intimacy and emotional complexity of two figures joined together in an embrace.

Pascal’s distinctive visual language brings together influences from Cubism, Futurism, classical art, and Art Deco. The figures are reduced to strong geometric forms, yet the painting retains a sense of tenderness, movement, and human connection.
