Mediterranean Revival style, Bendle Apartments, constructed in 1923, is located at 826 Collins Ave. Miami Beach, Florida, is seen here the way it appeared in the 1980s. Mitchell Funk is not photographing reality, he is creating a vision of reality. Funk's symmetrical composition, accented with an old Taxi Cab, is characterized by graphic simplification and discreet use of color.

He has had more than 50 Photography Magazine Covers and has had covers on Newsweek and Life Magazine among others.
