Description
Monumental and visually striking vintage lithograph poster depicting the iconic Bugatti Type 46, originally designed in the 1930s by renowned French Art Deco illustrator René Vincent—a leading figure in early automotive advertising and modernist graphic design.
This example presents as a mid-century impression (circa 1950s–1960s), printed on Arches paper and bearing production markings including “Joseph Charles, Paris”, along with notations “134 Ré, A. Bergin, IMP S2 97”. These markings are consistent with high-quality French lithographic editions produced for collectors and decorative interiors post-war.
The composition is quintessential Vincent—bold, streamlined, and dynamic—capturing the elegance and mechanical sophistication of the Bugatti marque through refined geometry and a striking palette of black, cream, and golden yellow. The oversized scale and strong vertical format create a commanding visual anchor, ideal for interior designers, automotive collectors, and Art Deco enthusiasts.
With a large sight area of 41.25” x 57.50”, the artwork reads clean and impactful on the wall, making it particularly effective in entryways, offices, galleries, or above low-profile furnishings. The framing enhances its presence while maintaining a crisp, gallery-ready presentation.
Professionally framed and ready for installation.
