Description
This one-of-a-kind color monoprint on wove paper is by Luigi Fusco, an Italian-American painter born in Italy in 1924. This abstract expressionist work depicts "The Mountain Top" with farm animals under a sunny sky with abstract geometrical forms floating in it, which are reflections of the floating geometrical threads throughout the wove paper. There are obvious influences here of other 20th century artists such as Miro, Klee, Picasso, and Cezanne. The print is signed in pencil and dated 1982, along with the title of the work and the type of art (monoprint). The sight size of the monoprint is 20.5"H x 20.5"W. It is a floating mount on an archival mat under glass in a wooden frame. The overall measurements are listed below.
