-
Description
A pair of petite Italian capitals engravings from the 19th century, in silver gilt frames. Created in Italy during the 19th century, each of this pair of petite engravings depicts a capital of unusual order. The title below each informs us that these capitals are from either il Duomo of Pola or from the San Marco basilica (in Venice). The capitals, presenting variations from traditional orders, are adorned with trellis patterns and topped with either ram’s heads or doves. Set inside silver gilt frames, this pair of 19th century Italian engravings will bring a timeless elegance to any home décor.
