    Original signed terracotta sculpture by Alexander Ney (Russian-American, 1939-2023) featuring his signature perforated surface texture and stylized bird form. The piece exhibits the artist's characteristic biomorphic design and rhythmic pattern of small circular perforations throughout. Signed on the underside. Viewed with bird facing forward measurements are 13.5 inches high by 18 inches deep by 7 inches wide. No noticeable chips, cracks, or repairs; light surface wear consistent with age. Provenance: A Ling Island, New York collector.
