Description
This is a rare statement piece commands that eye. It is of museum quality and a centerpiece work. Masterfully crafted details of the human form refinedly rendered in a pre-art deco style. The apparent crack in the arm, is not actually a crack. The sculpture was designed with the ARM being assemble as a second piece that was attached to the main body area. In person, this life-size work dominates the room with it's presence. Bronze - Dark Patina
Signed and dated on Base H. H. Liebmann, 1910
Inscribed on Back of base
Akfien - Gesellschaft Gladenbeck
