Here for your consideration is a beautiful bronze sculpture of a stretching ballerina by the well known American sculptor Peggy Mach. Signed “Peggy Mach” on bottom back of sculpture. Condition is excellent. Circa 1990. Sculpture is 9 inches high without the base. Marble off white base included height is 10.75 inches. Provenance: A Southold, Long Island collector.

Peggy Mach (American 1922-2013)
Peggy Mach has won over 40 awards and has received significant commissions. Her work has been displayed in galleries, museums and universities around the world. Private collectors of her work include: Hugh Carey (former Governor of New York), Wynton M. Blount, William J. Casey, Robert Goulet and Siegfried and Roy. She studied sculpture at Queens College and C. W. Post College. She lived and worked on Shelter Island, New York. She died in 2013.
